Women that are out there looking for Mr. right, might want to chill it a little. Maybe after reading this it might put things in perspective.

If you want the perspective and wonder why they’re (Men), are scared of marriage.  Turn on your local comedy central and watch a man talk about marriage. I know it’s hilarious, and people that are actually married make us laugh our asses off. For those who aren’t it’s terrifying!

Another thing that scares men about marriage: the extravagant wedding. Now it makes it more tolerable if her family is wealthy, because by the custom, women’s families are supposed to pay for the wedding. Now this doesn’t mean for sure it will happen. But before you set a date and start planning your wedding you might want to double check if your family will actually pay for it.

Another reason men are scared: Loss of control. If a man gets married they think everything they are and will ever be will be a couple. He won’t get a raise you both will. You won’t get pregnant, you both will. (I hate this one) You need to make sure he knows that just because you’re married doesn’t mean you have to be there for everything.

And the final and biggest reason men are scared of marriage: Divorce, yes we are inundated by it every single day of our lives. It’s sad how that the majority of marriages end in divorce. The truth is, the majority of men and women now days are the “Want it now” generation. It also means they can’t get through the hard times together. They would rather go through a messy, expensive divorce, rather then see it through and live to be married another day. Unfortunately none of this will change why he’s scared to get married. But you need to make him feel he can’t live without you.
